Les avions commerciaux sont capables d’effectuer des vols sur des distances importantes avec à leur bord entre 100 et 250 passagers. Ils sont généralement plébiscités par les agences de voyage, les tours opérateurs, les agences événementielles, les croisiéristes et de nombreux autres clients pour un vol ponctuel affrété ou une série de vols. Ces vols sont plus communément appelés “vol charter”.
Seulement, l’achat de ce jet privé fait un peu tache d’huile quand on sait que la vedette brésilienne a des soucis avec les impôts dans son pays pour des histoires de droit à l’image. Mais cela ne semble pas l’affecter, et il s’est fait plaisir avec son Cessna Citation 680 pouvant embarquer 12 personnes pour aller faire la fête de part le monde à près de 900 km/h.
We had quite a number of issues booking this trip, which resulted in add'l work and follow up for me. As broker these issues should have been handled / caught prior to making a proposal. I believe I had to sign 4 different revised quote sheets for this trip! Also the final signed sheet stated we would land in LFMD on the return leg. Hence we booked transportation for pick up at LFMD. However flight landed in LFMN. This caused add'l stress and expense for no reason. I have only now seen that the last itinerary link showed an arrival at LFMN - but I never opened this one since all previous ones, including the contract reconfirmation showed LFMD. As for the aircraft itself: it was one of the oldest ones I have ever flown. The door / separation to the toilet / luggage area was broken (not the lock but the entire frame!) and the toilet was not accessible due to a lot of "stuff" (amenities, water bottles, etc.) being thrown in / stored in the area. Overall cleanliness was not superb either. Finally, the catering we requested was not available / not complete. Breakfast (eggwhite and sausage!!) was cold and wet and the fruitplatter had molded grapes; no ice bucket, nor champagne glasses were present. On the return leg, fruitplatter was nice but again no ice bucket nor champagne glasses were present. As a matter of fact, the soft drink container was not even replenished w new ice!! So overall - yes, we flew from A to B but the service experience was disappointing.
I had the pleasure to work with Joel on a last minute trip needed to transport several professional athletes to an event. Joel was fast-acting and completely professional every step of the way. Once again: Joel, Sarah and Sandra delivered a seamless experience as well as the pilots and ground crew. There was 5 feet of snow in Steamboat Springs after a blizzard (Hayden Airport) and we took off perfectly and had a very smooth flight despite weather. The jet was beautiful and the awesome pilots tolerated our golden retriever trying to take over the navigation of the plane and two cats meowing. Stratos arranged for transportation home and the driver was so pleasant. Super happy again and will continue to only use them. Thank you again!
The long-range business jet features an enhanced variation of the 850XP’s winglets, increasing hot/high-altitude and cruise performance and range. On the runway in hot/high conditions, the 900XP requires 1,800 feet less runway for a 2,000 nautical mile trip with six passengers. It can complete coast-to-coast trips, Teterboro to Seattle for example.

Toutefois, il est au moins possible, aujourd’hui, d’avoir un aperçu de ce qu’est l’expérience d’un vol privé pour la modique somme de 59 dollars, même si ce n’est qu’à bord d’un avion dont les sièges ressemblent plus à ceux de l’avion régional dans lequel vous voyagez avec les compagnies aériennes normales. On évite tout de même les terminaux de l’aéroport commercial, et l’on ne se présente pour le vol que quinze minutes avant le décollage, ce qui est un luxe suffisant pour faire des heureux.
